A focused creative session to explore, shape or refine a musical idea.

Start from scratch, develop an existing composition, work through lyrics, chords, melody, structure or any specific element of a song. The session is about exploration and creative progress, not a promise of a finished song.

Best for: ideas, existing songs, creative blocks, early-stage writing and focused development.

Take an idea further and give one song a stronger creative direction.

Build on an existing idea or continue from a Creative Session, developing elements such as lyrics, melody, chords, structure and composition into a substantially developed song.

Best for: developing one song beyond the initial idea and bringing its core composition together.

Create or complete a full musical composition from the ground up or from an existing concept.

This can include lyrics, melody, harmony, chord progression, structure and broader compositional development, shaped into a complete songwriting/composition outcome.

(Recording, production, mixing and mastering are not included.)

A collaboration can include:

Songwriting: developing lyrics, ideas and concepts together
Composition: melody, chords, harmony and song structure
Musical Development: shaping and evolving the creative direction of the piece
Arrangement: developing how the different musical elements work together
Production Development: exploring the sound, instrumentation and direction of the project

The exact creative scope is agreed before the project begins, depending on what you want to create.

Includes: collaborative creative development of one project.

Recording, mixing, mastering, video production and other specialist services can be arranged separately where required.

Develop the instrumentation, arrangement, sounds and overall musical direction, using your existing material as the foundation. This can include piano, guitar, MIDI/programming, additional recording and, where appropriate, one additional live instrumentalist.

Production and arrangement
Instrumentation and sound selection
MIDI/programming where required
Recording of additional parts where needed
Basic production mix
1 revision round

(Recording required for the production is included within the agreed project scope. Additional recording sessions outside the production scope can be booked separately.)

Take an established song from its core idea to a fully developed, mixed production.

Build the track more extensively from the ground up, combining live and programmed instrumentation, recording, editing, arrangement and detailed production. Where appropriate, up to two additional live instrumentalists can be arranged as part of the production scope.

Recording and editing
MIDI/programming where required

Studio and recording setup
Microphone / DI setup where required
Multitrack recording
Basic session organisation

Editing, tuning and more extensive post-production are not included.

Record and prepare your performance in the same session, with editing included in the recording process.

Suitable for vocals and instruments, including comping, cleanup and basic timing work. Vocal tuning is included where appropriate.

Basic editing and cleanup
Basic vocal tuning where required

Extensive editing or production work may require a separate quote.
